Who we are…

Established in 2022, Saflog Freight Solutions (K) Ltd. is a freight forwarding and project logistics company delivering cost-effective solutions throughout the East African region.

We are registered members of Kenya International Freight forwarders Association (KIFWA) & Fédération Internationale des Associations de Transitaires et Assimilés (FIATA – International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations).

We develop comprehensive service plans tailored to meet specific requirements of our clients. This is accomplished by learning the clients’ exact objectives with regards to their internal and external requirements, thus ensuring that Saflog Freight Solutions (K) Ltd. will provide quality services more consistently than any other service provider in the market.

OUR MISSION

Saflog Freight Solutions (K) Ltd was formed to provide cost-effective freight solutions for an assortment of cargo (import & export of both transit and local consignments – breakbulk, containerized, and LCL shipments) within the East Africa hinterland.

Our firm achieves that by visualising and enumerating a logistics execution plan that seeks to curtail costs whilst maintaining premium service levels and as a result quote the client accordingly with all the requisites. Our firm is in this service intensive sector to ensure that we connect the sea with the hinterland in the supply chain.

Our vision is to become a one-stop-shop for any client for procurement, freight and inland haulage.

Our Scope

Saflog Freight Solutions Limited has specific expertise in customs clearance and:

  • Handling of self-drive units: with a throughput capacity in excess of 60 dump trucks (Sino Trucks and Shacman) a month.
  • Handling heavy equipment: Bull dozers, excavators, wheel loaders et al within the East Africa Hinterland.
  • Handling & transportation of Bitumen within the East Africa Hinterland.
  • Handling & transportation of LCL breakbulk shipments on flat beds and/or high sided trailers secured with tarpaulin.
  • Handling OOG (out of gauge) heavy lift cargo that entails multi-axle low loaders or modular trailers with escort details.
  • Loading and delivery of bagged cargo from Grain Bulk Handlers Limited (GBHL) to Rwanda.
  • Handling standard containerized cargo – import, export – merchant, TBL haulage in East Africa hinterland.

Our firm also extends consultancy services: advisory on management of supply chain models & troubleshooting solutions on customs related issues.
